Alberto Carrasquilla , is the current Minister of Finance and Public Credit of Colombia, previously having served from June 2003- March 07. He was formerly deputy minister of finance, professor and dean of the school of economics, Universidad de los Andes, lead research economist at the IADB and deputy governor, Banco de la República, Colombia´s central bank. Mr. Carrasquilla has also served as Chairman, Joint World Bank-IMF Development Committee and President of the Board of Governors ofCorporación Andina de Fomento (CAF).
